A&S Engineering were engaged to carry out the Structural Steel subcontract for the John Guest Warehouse & Office Project, this package included Shop Drawings, Manufacture and Installation. The Upfront approach with the shop drawing process and coordination with other structural trades ensured the components fitted together without clashes.
Due to an extremely confined site there were a number of methodology issues to consider prior to starting on site, these items were all considered and the onsite erection process went smoothly and met or exceeded the programme requirements. Late in the project there was a design change that added an additional column, the design was issued on a Thursday and the Column was erected on the Saturday in an area where fit out had begun.
Working with Jim, Sue and the rest of the team at A&S was a pleasure, their performance on the project was superb.
